Scale: Not stated
I was arranging my new Star Wars figures one night when I happened to notice they were close to the same scale as a couple of female anime figures that I done. A light bulb appeared over my head. Who else would have made the perfect subject but Shaak Ti. I bought another Shaak Ti figure and removed the head. I removed the head from the standing anime girl model I had. I matched the color of her head with laquers the best I could. It is not exact but you can hardly tell. Before I attached the head, I painted the body and then the bikini. I kept with the tradition of the Jedi and painted her bikini brown and a light tan using acrylics. I felt that the bikini alone was not enough so I took the long skirt that the action figure came with and made a waist wrap. I coated the top and bottom with thin glue so the threads will not come undone and the wrap would keep its shape. The designs were painted on. Still not quite happy, I decided to but on a waist chain and a belly button ring. I changed the ring to a crystal afterwards. For a final touch, I painted on some tattoos on her left hip and the backs of both shoulders.
Being pleased with the results, I wanted to do another with the other anime figure so I chose the next best subject and used Aayla Secura. I went through the same process as I did with Shaak Ti. I used I piece of shock cord from a flying model rocket to make her top. I was to originally make her topless but I wanted to share my creations with the public, and I have kids.
The base is a standard wood plaque. I used black craft sand as my alien beach. The beach towel was a piece of glittery, semi transparent purple ribbon. All of this including the black rocks and plants came from an arts and crafts store (one which I will soon be employed at!).
Originally, both figures were on separate bases. Aayla was on the plaque and Shaak Ti on a rock. They are now once again separate but on different kinds of bases.
