This was my first all-resin kit, Starcraft's 1/1000 Romulan Bird of Prey. This is probably my favorite of all the Trek ships, and was well worth it.

I was looking for something other than just a plain gray, and decided to try duck-egg blue. This came out much more green than I expected, but, I decided I liked it that way; it makes it tie in to the later color schemes. I painted the nacelles behind the bussard domes sky blue, and then dullcoated them along with the rest of the model. This gives them that glowing look in the light.

I tried lighting the shots two ways; the darker shots are grainier, but give a better impression of the color.
