This is my buildup of the famous CC/Salzo studio scale X-wing kit. I painted and detailed it to match Wedge's Red 2. I also added some detail to the cockpit; the cockpit of the miniature and the full-size cockpit set don't match each other at all, so the result is kind of a hybrid. The pilot's clear visor was stretch molded over a Milliput form and trimmed to fit. The weathering is a combination of airbrush work, oil washes, pastels, and steel-wool rubdowns.
