This is the original 1978 issue of the AMT Romulan Bird of Prey. My restoration included replacing the inaccurate globe shaped engine parts with domes I cast from resin, drilling out all of the sensor "holes" and filling them with "Kyrstal Klear", adding a weapons emitter to the hull, and cutting off the engine exhausts with a razor saw so I could put on more accurate ones made from styrene tubing. Aftermarket decals (JT Graphics) came to the rescue and replaced the tattered original markings. I used Gunze Sangyo acrylics to paint and weather the ship. The colors are a very light camouflage grey, radome tan and off white.
