This is a resin model that started as a master made from sheet plastic, evergreen strips, clear lighting sheets and various greeblies. I already had the molds made for the main body and struts so all I needed for this ship was the wings and guns. Once I scratchbuilt the new wings, they had to be cast in a flat manner. I then glued these parts together in sections. The wing itself has 6 parts. This project took about 3 weeks to complete. The model looks fantastic once it was completed. The overall color was a light blue gray, and the cockpit trim was done in dark gray. The solar areas are done in flat black. Dark gray pastel weathering was applied sparingly to all the crevices.
