TIE/Long Range (LR) |

The TIE/Long Range was designed to enable pursuit of fleeing craft. When a craft enters hyperspace, the fleet craft can pursue it, leaving the TIE/LRs to mop up any stragglers, then rejoin the fleet or return to its base. The TIE/LR has a top speed in excess of an A-wing fighter and is fully hyperspace capable.
