VF-1S Valkyrie

By Rafael Mozeto

I'm a Brazilian businessman who, during his childhood, built some injection kits from Revell. After losing contact with model kits (15 years passed) I've got in front of this kit that I present in the pictures. The kit is an Valkyrie VF-1S from Macross "do you remember love?" (for you from US the name may be Robotech) a Japanese anime from the 80's. I bought it from Hobby Link Japan and took about two weeks until I finally put my hands on it.

The kit is really fantastic, suberb details and fine attachment. For me (a not experienced kit modeler) assembly took about a week and half every night (about 4 hours per day). I painted it with acrylic ink and glued with a not-so-good glue ... next time i'll use loctite super bonder.

From the pictures taken (taken with an FujiFilm FinePix S5000) you can see that I must work hard to imprrove my modeler skills.
