This is a scratch built medical tricorder with functioning lights and detatchable scanner. It is built with sheet styrene and the decals were created on my computer. There are sequencing and stationary lights just like the origional props. The lights activate when the door is opened by using a magnetic reed switch. The tricorder is painted with automotive paint and then finished with an automotive clear coat.
