Duey, Huey, and Louie: Three robots from the film, "Silent Running." The Bots were a job for a client and close friend. Not sure of which company produced these kits, as no box came with them, or was the company name on the art cover.

The resin castings had some major flaws, and it looked like they were getting close to the end of the molds life, as bits of the mold material was stuck here and there. The trim around the bodys was completely gone. This was fixed using strips of styrene plastic to rebuild these areas. The cables running from the body to the legs was black wire from grain of wheat bulbs. The arm assembly was completely rebuilt using brass wires and aluminum tubing.

Considering the flaws this kit had, they rebuilt up very nice.
