Asteroid Ships

By Phill Besio

Here are my 2 old asteroid ships. The bigger ship (brown) is more of an explorer ship while the lighter gray one is a fuel ship. I had originally made these for a short online story that never got past 6 pages. Both are less then 4" long.

Each was made from a lump of aluminum foil covered in Sculpy. Before baking I roughened the surface with another chunk of foil then sculpted in craters (with various round objects) and minor collision damage. Parts include: wood beads, solder, pins, random plastic chunks, pearl beads, rods and silica gel balls. Anything I had handy was fair game.
