This is my scratch built model of the Romulan Valadore type Warbird from Star Trek: Nemesis. When I began building this model the only references I had to go on where a few freeze-frames from the internet and a couple of diagrams. One of my main references was John Eaves' initial design sketches. Once I got hold of the Nemesis DVD I could see where the early designs and the finished product had subtle differences and so my model is a sort of hybrid between the two.

Since then I have learned that Ravenstar Studios have brought out a much more correctly detailed version of this starship so I have purchased that kit. Maybe I'll do a review of the Ravenstar kit, showing the glaring differences between mine and a properly detailed model.
