'Studio Scale' TIE Advanced

By Chris Kelley

Here are some early shots of my in progress Tie advance. I am real excited about this kit because It's moving along with out any real problems. I hope to have this model built molded and cast in about three weeks.

I have been lucky that the cockpit for my Tie fighter and Interceptor will work here in Darth Vaders ship. In the past I have had praise on the quality on my kits but I have had people say that they are very hard to assemble. The struts on my Tie fighter and Interceptor were always cast seperately. In the pictures you can see the struts are attached and there will be no problems aligning the fuesalage halves. I plan on casting this model in two parts the upper and lower. The only other parts will be a more creative interior, the wings, and a stand, hopefully a wall mount.
