This 1/8th scale model depicts a Star Wars Astromech Droid that predates the ubiquitous R2 unit. It's more 3-dimensional doodling than a deliberate design. The legs are from a Japanese robot toy, the body made from 1/48th scale A-10 Warthog engine halves, and many little bits and pieces from the greeblie bin. The home-made decals were printed on a color laser printer.
