I spent about 3 months scratchbuilding my model. I primarily used sheet, tube and strip Evergreen styrene. I utilized three view drawings and lots of online photos of ILM's studio model. My intent was to build a small "test" model before building one in a much larger scale. It turns out that I had so much fun building the small one that I forgot about the larger scale model. My photos show my model alongside a quarter to show scale.
