On the edges of the Eastern Empire, Outriders ceaselessly patrol the wilderness in search of the Snark herds.

The model is a Heller Rhino bug with 1/35th scale rider. The rider is made from a hodge podge of figures. The head was from Hornet; the arms are Tamiya Soviet tank riders; I think the legs are Dragon modern US tank crew and the shoes are Acedemy IDF tank crew.

Paint is Tamiya for the bug and Vallejo for the rider with a Polyscale flat coat to finish.

The back drop is a shot from red rock state park... I printed it at 8*10 and taped it to the wall behind the model.

My original concept was supposed to be high fantasy... this has come out alternate ww2. I guess thats what I get for digging in the spares box instead of building things from scratch. No games workshop bits in this one, though. My favorite part is the bucket hanging from the exhaust....
