HI, Folks!

Honest Grlz’gub here with the LATEST model Bug from WolksVagen Motas! The ALL NEW Scorpion 6000! Runs like a bug, eats like a bug! Gets GREAT mileage on whatever you feed it. (Remember to keep small children and pets away from it when it's “Feed Me” light goes on!) Come in NOW to meet YOUR new transportation for 2326!

And remember - “Get the BUG before the BUG gets YOU!”

Tom Daniels “Pie Wagon” never looked more sinister. I combined this classic show rod kit with parts from AMT’s Scorpion and other “Gigantics” kits and whatever was laying around in the “Bits Box” to make the basic shape. Then added some electronics for the pulsating blue light in the back of the ‘cockpit’ and the cycling green lights visible in the back ‘window’. I glued green rectangular LEDs into a block with superglue, which allows light from one LED to amble into the adjacent LEDs so you see a swirling, migrating light effect - not just rectangular shapes blinking at you. (That accounts for the wires comin' out the bottom.)

Paint? I base coated the model with Krylon BBQ Grill High Temp Black, then top coated it with rattle can automotive touch up paint. Then a bit of hand painting for the ‘control stalk’ - the green warty thing in the cabin.
