This is a resin kit that I got off e-bay. It’s a nice
sculpt, but had numerous air holes that needed to be
filled. The kit originally came with a brick base, but it
didn’t seem to work well with the model. Instead I made a
new base for the kit from Magic-Sculpt. This was then
covered with thinned white glue and real dirt.
The entire kit was painted with
acrylic paints.
The kit
itself was an exercise in dry brushing. After a dark gray
base coat I alternated various layers of grays and brown
dry brushing. A dark wash was then applied to give texture
to the recesses of the fur. A final ivory colored dry
brushing finished it off.
The eyes were painted
metallic gray and then coated with a layer of clear red.
After a flat clear coat, the eyes, teeth, and lips were
covered with a gloss coat.
