Not much to be said about the build on this. It's typical of models of the time (it's a late eighties kit). Some fit issues in areas required some extensive filling and sanding but all in all an enjoyable kit. I did decide to strip the chrome off the leg jacks as it was just way too bright. I also added some screen to the leg intakes/vents (don't know what they are) and turned a new main barrel as the old one was nothing more than a tapered tube.

I pre-shaded the model with black and painted it all with Tamiya Desert Yellow. The decals were an absolute pain, taking 5+ minutes to soak off the paper and then took repeated applications of decal solvent to get them to settle down. Then I used some Tamiya Smoke to add the oil stain down the legs jacks.

You've got to admit, it's got legs.
