This model was originally planned as a part of a diorama reflecting todays motorshows into the Gundam universe, a sort of "Chicago Mech Show 2005”. Well, real life prohibited me from finishing the dio, but its heart, the X-ray ZAKU, was already done - so why not entering at least that one here?

So what you can see here is a combination of two BANDAI Zaku master grade kits, the transparent one and the solid one. Those are identical except of the color of the parts, so I was able to use parts from both kits to create an interesting looking showpiece, just like some concept cars that are shown at motorshows nowadays. I used no add-on parts, the kits are fine as they are in their boxes. Some sprue marks has been polished away (especially on the clear parts), the fine black lines were done with a fine black marker.

The result of the combination of those two kits is a Zaku with partially visible inner skeleton - an X-ray Zaku!
