This is a 100 % scratchbuilt model of the Wheel Tank briefly shown in Episode II. It is built at roughly 1:48 scale.

The wheels were machined out of solid ABS plastic using a machine lathe and a milling machine equipped with a Haas computerized dividing head. The body was carved out of ren-board and then vacuum-formed out of styrene as well as the wheel drive housings. The rest of the parts (suspension, details,etc.) were fabricated using various styrene tubing, rod, and strip. The paint was applied using an airbrush with several layers of different color washes and then dry brushed.
