This model was sctrachbuilt from styrene, steel and brass rod, and guitar strings. After the basic shape was constructed, putty was used to smooth out the curved areas. The pilot is a modified manga figure that I found in an anime store. Much of his orignial detail was cut away or masked with putty. Both were painted using acrylics and washes.

The base is a 1/24 scale car odel display base covered and detailed with styrene. The entire swoop is suspended mounted to on 1/16 inch brass rod affixed into the base.
