This kit represents Dash Rendar's Outrider as described in the Shadows of
the Empire novel. The novel describes the Outrider as having a "dark gleam"
to it and a black-chrome coloration. As such, I chose a metallic gray color
for the primary paint scheme.
The model is scratchbuilt entirely from styrene sheets, rods, and tubes,
with a fair amount of putty. Concept drawings, The Essential Guide to
Vehicles and Vessels, West-End games gaming material, and the internet were
the primary resources for information used to build this model.
