Scale: Studio

This scratchbuilt model stands nearly 12" tall. It is the same size as the stop motion model used in Jedi. It is built primarily from styrene and various existing model pieces. Some of the kits used were Vader's TIE, Panzer tanks (1/35 and 1/72) and a 1/20 Ferrari. The chin guns were made from aluminium tubing. The base color is Krylon primer, then lightly weathered.

The references I used came from the Chronicles... book, Star Wars to Indy and an old Starlog magazine. It only took a few weeks to build. The best part is that it was built from left over junk so it cost nothing to make.
