This kit is the original AMT Ertl release from 1978. My model features a detailed cockpit interior detail with fiber optic lighting, and the Darth Vader figure is backlit with a red LED. The quad engines are also lit with super bright red LEDs. These lights are all supplied by 1.5 volts of direct current. A few exterior details were added in addition to some panel lines being scribed. The base is actually a 10” dinner plate panted with Fleckstone spray and the Imperial Insignia was painted by hand. The model is approximately 1/48 scale.

The model was painted with Testors light aircraft gray and lightly washed with a darker gray to accent panel lines and details.
