Do not underestimate the power of the Dark Side...

We all know that history is always been written by the winners. In our case the rebels are those, so we didn`t see a six part documentary about the rise and fall of the Galactic Empire in which the legendary Jedi master Yoda didn`t fade away in peace, but was in fact been captured by Lord Vader himself and frozen in Carbonite like the smuggler Han Solo!

Recently some secret material found its way to the public, containing some never-before-seen pictures that show the cruel truth. See by yourself...

About the model:

A couple of weeks ago I found a comic telling a "what if..." kind of story about all the things that happened in Star Wars IV - VI. I didn't really read it, but since then I have been lost in thoughts about what could have been. The finding of a resin kit of Yoda frozen in carbonite came at the right moment - of course I purchased it!

I used gunmetal as the basecolor and drybrushed the poured carbonite in steel, leaving some areas in the darker tone to simulate the body of Yoda just underneath the surface. Drybrushed silver and white were used to highlight the old Jedimaster himself. There`s not more to tell about it, just that it is really an eyecatcher because of the subject itself - one of my friends said "Oh no, he just doesn't deserve that!“

So what do we learn here? Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side!
