This is an M-704 Rommel hover tank. Originaly designed for desert recon and addapted for use on the plains of mars as a fast armored force.

The model was made from an old toy carcass found in the parts bin. It was covered in bondo and sanded to a smooth shape. Turret and hatches are from a Games workshop kit. The rest of the parts are from an old Robotech kit, Monogram starfury, Tamiya panzer3, and more bits from the parts bin. Figures are Citadel miniatures. The groundwork on the base is sand glued on with paint then painted again with some rocks from the backyard.
